Yep. It sure is fall.

Oh how quickly things do change.  Just last week I was cursing the fact that we had to (yes, haaaad to) turn on our puny in-wall air conditioner.  You know, the kind where you stand in front of it and it feels like someone is blowing at you.  It’s about as effective as sticking your head in the freezer.  Nonetheless, it was a requirement, as our inside temperature neared 100 degrees.

Now here we are, one week later, and I’m wrapped in a down blanket (no it is not eco-friendly and humane, but it was a gift a very long time ago and I love it.  Especially today.) with Uggs acting as slippers.  The laptop generates heat, the dog generates heat and I’m just about at a comfortable temperature now.  I would give this the official ‘Yep, It’s Fall.’

Not to give the wrong impression- I love this weather!  I love everything about fall and am more than willing to don my cozy gear and get ready for the holidays.  I started baking, looking again at some old indoor projects and I’m madly in love with pumpkins these days (where’d that come from?).

Here are a few other things I love:

This Cappuccino Corner in one of Martha Stewart’s homes (yes, one of them)
