Free Design for an Inspired Reader

I’m the kind of gal who likes to make connections – I believe every step we take is intertwined with our past and leading us into our future. So several months ago, as I was retracing the web that brought me to where I am today, I had an Aha moment.
I decided to combine my love of being an Interior Designer with my love of being an E-Preneur and start an E-Design program through Redefine Home.
I spent a couple weeks planning out how the program would run – that is, how to give design clients exactly what they need from afar. After combing through all my best (and worst) projects, I think I’ve come up with a great program. The concept is simple, the prices are affordable, and I get to work with clients across the globe instead of just down the street.
Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to come up with a way to say thank you to my loyal readers. The blog has been growing quickly over the last 6 months and I’m excited to see so many familiar names and I LOVE all the feedback I’ve been getting. This is truly rewarding.
Once again I’m making a connection. You obviously like design, and chances are if you’re reading my blog that you identify with my style and design philosophy. So I’ve decided to do a giveaway for a Custom Room Design to one lucky reader.
From now until March 31st, write a comment on this post telling me which room you would have re-E-designed and general ‘vision’ for the space. On April 1st I’ll do a drawing to select a winner at random. You can only enter once, but please feel free to pass along the love to your friends and fellow bloggers. If this goes well I might just do it again
For complete details on the program and package options, visit Redefine Home Interiors. Send me your feedback, questions at linsi@inspired-design-daily.com. Good luck and thanks for reading!

The room I would have E-designed would be my office/b-fast nook/cat area. I have struggled with what to do since it has to function as a dining space and office and it’s the only logical place for the cat liter.
What I would like is for this space to be functional as a home office yet elegant as a dining space. I also don’t have much $$$$ to invest. Hmmm
my wife and i have a 10-month old, and i am finally getting an office space! we are converting a den into my graphic design studio and i’m so stoked to have a space that is solely mine! i’m thinking shelves, a work desk … oh, and my computer.
i’m into all styles of design, but we have a colonial and my wife is a traditionalist, so i’ve gravitated towards rustic style, looking to incorporate found items as art, decoration or repurpose altogether. i’ve already begun to collect items that strike my fancy as this room has been floating around in my thoughts for many a year now.
initial conversations between my wife and i have already sparked controversy, as she and i have very different vision. what better way to resolve the dispute than an E-designed room?!
I would love my master bedroom to be redesigned. It gets the least amount of attention and I’ve kind of hit a wall. Creative help would be appreciated!
Hi! I am a photographer, and my office and studio is in a renovated barn. It’s such a big open space, and I have no idea how to decorate it and design the usable space. The first floor is huge, and all open, and the south side is a 20″ tall bank of windows. I need shooting space and meeting space, but overall I need the whole space to feel cohesive, cozy and roomy at the same time, and most of all, welcoming. I’d love some help!
This couldn’t have arrived at a better time! My husband and I just bought our very first home! It is a gorgeous bungalow up in the Oakland Hills – it is filled with light from the oversized windows and just waiting to be brought back to the current decade
The living room would be my choice if chosen. The fireplace is stately from floor to ceiling and is the focal point of the room. We are refinishing the hardwoods as soon as we move in later this month, but after that we don’t have a clear vision for the room.
The living room will be the main “hub/heart” of the home and we desperately would love a designers touch to set the tone of our home! I love everything at Redefine Home – I’m a flea market maven with a love of all things repurposed or things that at least look old. I like the old mixed with new and have dreams of having a house that looks lived in vs. buying all new furniture at once from one store – eek! I’ve already picked out a few pieces that I would like to bring in – for instance, the burlap ottoman! Loving this piece for added dimension and texture to the room! The A-Frame Console Table is exactly like a piece I saw at a flea market!
As newlyweds, this would be such an amazing giveaway to receive. Thank you for the chance to be graced with your amazing taste and talents!
We would pick the bedroom. He would pick mid-century modern. I would pick more romantic and elegant with mirrored night stands and a chandelier. So if there was a way to marry those two together…that is the room we would LOVE to live in. Great idea for customer engagement!!
I came to your site when I was searching for a turquoise chandalier that I had seen on decor pad. I fell in love and have purchased several items as I am able. I have my eye on the incredible fishing floats found in Alaska. I love the idea of being able to design with one of a kind found objects, but I don’t have the time or luxury with working full time and two small kids to do the searching. That’s why I love your site. I would love to have my office space become more elegant, sophisticated and of course organized.
The transition from a home in Arizona to a home half the size along the coast in California has created many challenges. Our main room is a living room, an office and a playroom for our two small children. It’s the room where we hang out 80% of the time. And it needs help! I want to create a relaxing coastal vibe where baby toys aren’t the main focus. Where friends can come over to relax and there is enough space for everyone to sit. Where natural items and unique finds replace the standard furniture. But also where many items are reused and repurposed – sustainability is key. I would love help in creating a room that is functional, relaxing and where we just say “ahhh – we’re home.”
We live in a small space with a rectangular living room. The shape of the room complicates setup. Plus, the room is multipurpose, we use it as our tv room, office and library. Having that area redesigned would be fabulous!
I have taken a Residential Area in which there is 3 Bed room, Living Hall ‘n’ Kitchen with Dinning area.
The design is based on Contemporary Modern Design. The Flat is designed for Indians as per Indian needs.
Having a parking area ‘n’ Garden ‘n’ a back lawn. The Design has been done keeping in view the Area, Needs, Access Area, Lifestyle, etc…

The Kids Bedroom is designed as per the requirements, The Shelfs, Study area, Relaxing Area with new ‘n’ unique method. The Grand Parents Bedroom is designed simple as the old are not much like the color.
The Living room is simple but the base is not a normal one, The walls back of sofa is designed with steel pipes, n play full of colors.
The kitchen has every modern features for best use ‘n’ requirement. The Kitchen is designed in Island method.

The Designed is made by me it self.
I’m a student of Interior Design.
I would like to have our master bedroom edesigned. It’s a large rectangular room with two “inlet” spaces. I’ve struggled with what to make the focal point and would love new ideas!
My guest room/home office. Getting married in November and the future hubby is moving in at the end of the year. We both work at home, so we are struggling to figure out a layout that would accommodate two work stations and 1-2 guests (the latter happens rarely but when it does we want our guests to feel relaxed and not in an office. I would also love a place to properly store wrapping items and various textiles. I’m a sewer
I would choose the great room in our weekend place. We have been under construction for over 3 years, doing the majority of the work ourselves. We have put so much time and energy into building the structure that I’m not sure I have what it takes to finish this project. A beautiful and functional room seems to have so many layers and I need help pulling it all together! The feeling I would like to achieve is a light and airy, relaxed, beach house feel. I have my fingers crossed!!! Thanks for the great opportunity and the best of luck on your new endeavor!
I discovered your wonderful website on a design blog and purchased a mirror, pillow and some baskets for our newly remodeled master bed and bath. The mirror is still leaning against a wall… Our bedroom has just enough space to serve as a bedroom and adult hang out(we needed a haven away from the family room filled with toys for our 4 and 8 year old daughters) and I did buy the basics – bed with new headboard, small sectional couch, nightstands and coffee table. Now I need some help with decor! I love mixing old and new. We have a neutral pallette – greyish beige walls, flax headboard, slate grey couch. I would love to bring yellows and reds in to brighten the space, add lamps, maybe a chair and media stand. We have a blank wall where a dresser, bookshelves or desk could go… but I am having a hard time figuring it out.
I’d pick my basement TV room. It’s long and narrow and very ugly!
